A key skill to ensure that each and every child is able to protect themselves in any situation that they might face. 

From checking oil to being able to change a tyre to knowing how a car works are all essential skills for any active citizen. 

Being educated, intelligent and skilled is not enough. Being able to confidently, appropriately and engagingly express yourself is key to success. 

Money management, budgeting, taxes and interest rates etc are all key to a stress free and successful personal and professional life.

In order to build a world that is free from injustice and discrimination, it is essential to teach children the importance of equality and justice.

Ensuring that all students are able to maintain their mental health and wellbeing, with empathy and factual knowledge. 

We are what we eat.

So we must learn to prepare food that optimises who we are, keeping us happy and in good health. 

No matter what we do, we must buy things. Knowing how to, being aware of consumer rights and having a critical eye is key. 

A key to being an active citizen and  accessing legal rights, is being educated in national and international laws that impact everyday people. 

First aid is a key skill in ensuring good health for self and community. Medical literacy is required to access the best healthcare.

As absolute must if we are to prepare for the future, with food uncertainty being an increasing risk globally.

A basic working knowledge is required in order to be a responsible home owner in future. 

Etiquette and safety in driving is something that is not covered by the driver training in Sri Lanka.

Living with consciousness and respect for the planet and all life.
